How often do you replace the heels of stillettos?

I live and work in Manhattan, so I am outside on my feet A LOT. But I feel like every month I am getting the heels replaced on my stilletto shoes- when I say heel replaced, I mean the padding that goes on the bottom of the heel- not the entire heel. It seems to be a lot. And it doesn't matter the brand.

How often do you replace the heels of your shoes?

ETA: I do get the rubber ones.

you should ask your shoe maker if they have the rubber tips rather than the plastic ones. The rubber ones last longer. at least for me I found that on my heels.

I also have to suggest the rubber heels instead of the plastic ones.

If you're already getting the rubber heels, then once a month is pretty darn frequent!

Often also. Then again i have a "heavy walk" !
