Putting in the carseat....
Is it really that hard? Will DH be able to figure it out? lol That is next on our to do list.

My DH couldn't do it. I was able to figure it out, but I'm having trouble reaching the hook for the latch under the seat. I'm only going into the hospital tonight to have the baby!  My DH's cousin is actually coming over this morning to put it in for us.

There are people who are certified to do this for you - and it's done the right way. I would go to one of them.

My husband did it yesterday!! He read through the carseat manual and my cars owner manual before putting it in! He also watched a quick segment on the Baby Basics DVD we got at Lamaze! After all that he had no problems!! I'm going to get it inspected though just to be safe!

Where do you live. I am going to a place this weekend that is certified to do this. Let me know if you want the info. I will find the post where i posted the number. I know my DH tried it seemed to easy and seat seems to shift side to side.

IMO, it is easy and takes five minutes. But we've done it a ton of times (2nd baby) and are used to doing it.

Seatcheck.org
While it is pretty easy to do - 90% of car seats are INCORRECTLY installed. If you do it yourself just make sure to get it checked - it takes only about 2 seconds and its FREE!
