I had a growth sono at 34 weeks and the fluid level was borderline high. I had to have another growth sono 2 weeks later. The fluid level was still high. I didn't have any complications or further intervention b/c of the fluid levels though.

There is high then there is abnormally high. If they didn't say you have excess fluid I would say you are probably just upper level of normal range. Esp b.c the OB/Dr doing the sono (reviewing it) would have spoken to you if it was in abnormal range.

I had excess fluid with DD #1. Excess fluid is not a huge concern unless it is really high (then they usually remove some fluid). In general it made me more at risk for preterm labor (it gave me a lot of contractions). It also puts you are risk for when your water ruptures it can pull the cord thru your vaginal canal.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it at this point. It is not unusual to have higher levels of normal - and even having excess when the numbers aren't too high isn't a huge concern either.
