Quite possibly the most annoying thing just happened.
I am due tomorrow and yes, not as limber as I used to be.
I just dropped a FULL jar of tomato sauce on the kitchen floor-- red sauce and glass everywhere.
I am home alone. I just had to get on my hands and knees and clean the whole damn thing up.
If that doesn't bring the baby out, I don't know what will!

Oh no. I am so sorry. DH did that once. It was such a nightmare to clean up. I am giving major props to you doing it at 39 weeks and 6 days PG.

well, I went to the mall to do some errands and walk around as much as possible.
I just got home and went to the bathroom and I had a little bit more mucus tinged slightly with blood-- but nothing that I would call on a full on "show".
Feeling lots of tightening of the belly too-- but that can just be BH.
Dropping a jar of sauce is not my normal behavior either...
OH... and when I showered, this is totally gross btw. I was putting moistuerizer on-- and the last couple of days, I have been skipping my boobs just in case I end up breastfeeding later in the day. I know, I am crazy. So, I noticed that there was something on my boob and I think maybe I leaked a little! I have had no leakage or anything-- but I am not sure exactly what the stuff was-- it could have just been some soap or something.
Today is DH's birthday and he is on his way home now. We are supposed to go out for dinner, but I hope we don't make it!!

if you had more blood-tinged mucous i'm starting to think that this is your version of the show.
the show doesn't have to be big. for me it was literally a teeny little drop that i saw dripping down the side of the toilet. had i not just happened to look down, i would have missed it. once the contractions started there was more.
the leakage is probably colostrum! i had it on and off starting 20-something weeks, but if this is a first for you it may be a sign!
anyway, i'm feeling very optimistic for you today

either way, i am hopeful! labor starts this way for lots of people- general yucky feeling, some stronger BH, and then the real thing.

I will.... I did predict that today would be the day, since it's Matt's birthday and of course the roads are going to ice over any second now!
I am just going to see how I feel as time goes on... I can't say anything definitively at this point.

ok, well I *think* I might be having mild contractions and I continue to lose some more of the mucus plug.
Since I don't feel horrible, just uncomfortable, we are still going to go to dinner unless something happens in the next hour. Figured might as well go out, as opposed to just sitting here waiting for something more to happen. The restaurant is a 5 min walk, so it's very close should dinner get really exciting.

Ugh that's annoying! I don't know what it s but I have never dropped things so much in my life, but lately at least five times a day I drop things and it is such a chore to pick them up. I can't imagine cleaning glass and a jar of sauce
