have a short cervix if so do they do an internal exam each time to check on you?

If by short you also mean thin, then yes. Every time they schedule me for an u/s I also have an internal done. Most of the u/s is done externally, they go internally just for a moment to check out my cervix specifically. HTH.

At my 20 week sono they said my cervix was low, measuring 2.7. They said it should be closer to 3. So I have been going every two weeks to monitor it to make sure it doesn't change. I am 28.5 weeks now and so far no changes. I go again tomorrow.

Yeah, mine was measuring 3.3 so I'm right there with ya. Luckily for now I only get checked out once a month.
