Bed Rest is horrible.

All the girls who did this for an extended period of time- I give you MAJOR credit. I am soooo bored. I am dying to jump on my bed or something just to get my energy out!

I hope this doesn't last too much longer.

when do you return to your doctor? I know it's annoying, but if it helps w/ the clot, it will be worth every boring second.

i hear you - i did 7 weeks of bedrest last pregnancy - it was NOT fun

my advice - get yourself some trashy magazines, some sodoku, some good movies, and TRY to relax (i know, easier said than done).

So far, I've been on bed rest for 3 weeks.....it's pretty dreadful!!!!! I have about 7 weeks to go (if I can hold them in, that is...)

I did it for about 6 weeks...I know it sucks. But u can totally do it!!! Just keep thinking about your bundle of joy....that's what got me through it

I was on bedrest for 14 weeks...and then limited activity after that...I know it's boring, but you'll find ways to entertain yourself...DVR has become my best friend.

Use this opportunity to read some good books, magazines, and catch up on rest...because once DC is born, there will be no more rest lol.

Oh I have been in your shoes. What really really helped me was to have my day planned out. My DH would come home from work every day to bring me lunch and be with me for a few minutes. My best friend - she is in Boston and I am in NJ would AIM me for almost 1/2 the day. I had my shows that I liked to watch. DH got me books from the bokstore and the library. Before I swelled, I took up knitting. I read a lot of magazines. I took up playing some video games.

OH yes i k now what you mean. I have been on bedrest the last 3 months of my pregnancy!! All because of preterm labor concerns. Just keep your eye on the prize. It does get easier.

I was on BR for a month or so last PG. Find many things to occupy your time if you can.

I'm sorry to hear it! Stock up at amazon.com and join netflix. that might keep you a LITTLE entertained... better than daytime TV at least. I'm home too, so I know what you mean.
