What do you think of these diaper bags??

I am having the hardest time picking one out !! - I know, I know, it should be the LEAST of my concerns !! -

I am going to get DH a backpack full of baby gear to give him at my shower........he won't be carrying around 'my' baby bag so it doesn't matter if it's too 'girly' -

They both come in red as well, which I think is kind of fun .......but I don't know !!

Its hard to tell by the picture, it is fashinonable.. but wondering how practicle it is. Doesnt look like it can fit a whole lot.. KWIM.

They look nice and not diaper baggish. I'm more of a fabric bag kind of girl so I think I'll end up with a Vera Bradley, also because my sis has one so I've seen it in practical use. Maybe you can post this on the Parenting board to get experienced mommy opinions.

ETA: Looking at them again, I like the top one better with the two handles. Looks like it would open up wider than the other.

I like the first one. the opening on the top looks like its bigger so it would be easier to find things.

So they are both basically the same size.. just different dimentions.. I think then I have to go with #1..

The site has free shipping & returns, so maybe I'll just order both and see if I like them .........
I freakin' HATE to do that though -

The website says Dennys in Plainview carries the brand, maybe I'll drive over and see if they carry either of the bags -

i like the look of the second, but I prefer two straps as opposed to one.

I think you need to see both in person and try them on, and see what is most comfortable.

As a BTDT who has gone through multiple diaper bags here is my take
if I had to choose I wo uld go with #1..#2 has that curve design w hich can make things hard to organize inside as well as get out...th is is the issue I have with my big diaper bag due to its shape.

I would also get a small diaper bag. The one I use most of hte time is the eddie bauer weekender (I think thats what its called) It easily fits a change of clothes a few diapers, 2 bottles and his sippy and my wallet with ease and its so much easier to carry around. I only use my big diaper bag if I am going to be out of the house all day or if I need to bring a few toys with me.
