Has anyone else installed their Graco Snugride?
DH just installed it and said that it seemed TOO easy, and that it doesn't seem as secure as he expected it to be. He followed all the instructions, but-- I guess this is why so many people do it incorrectly...
I am going to take it to get inspected anyway, but thought I would post on here.

DH installed ours way back when, and he said that if you have a car with the LATCH system it is pretty easy. i'm sure it's done right.

he did use the LATCH option-- and I just found a video on YouTube that shows how to install, so he thinks he did it right, maybe he can tighten a bit and we can check the angle for newborn or whatever... I will still take it to be inspected.

Haven't installed it yet, but I did get it.
I think I heard that when you install it, put your (DH's) weight on it while tightening the belt so that it's snug.

The issue is usually that it is not secure enough and the angle is off. When I got it installed, the guy was in the car with feet on seats pulling it tight. He also had a level in addition to the one that is built in on the seat.

We installed ours today as well and it did seem to easy and doesnt seem so snug we have an appt wit public safety on the 28th.

We had it installed at Hassel's and it took the girl about 3 minutes to install it. It was incredibly easy. To secure it she used her knee to put all her weight on it.
