ugg cardys at work?

our dress code is business casual, empahsis on the casual basically we can't wear jeans, capris, or athletic sneakers (although some people do anyway )

i have grey cardy uggs, would you wear them to work?

i have seen other people here wear uggs, but under their pants... i would probably wear them over my pants.

thoughts?

I would think it is fine, especially if your shirt is a bit dressier.

Our lab is so casual that it's pant optional I kid, but my labmate wore a sweater dress a while ago with leggings, and the dress was so short it basically looked like she forgot to wear pants So anything flies here.

When I'm not sure if an outfit will work I always try the whole ensemble on together. When I'm in it I decide if it feels like a work outfit. If other people wear them that should be fine.

If you're about 95% positive wear it on a Friday. Fridays just seem to say "Hi I'm your friend, if you want to be a little bit more casual today I understand." Or you could do what a lady in my office does every day wear whatever you want and say you forgot your shoes/blouse/dress pants at home. So far it has worked for her.

I work in a school where its business casual and ive worn my black cardys over my dress pants. so i dont see why not

I would wear them with a nice gray or black sweater

I definitely have and I wear them in court!
