HR Letter
Anyone have any samples they want to share. I guess I just have to put into writing that I'll be out on leave from April -- to Sept -- . My concern is I'm sure I won't want to come back early but just in case I need to because I don't get any pay on leave, I'm not sure how to word that.
How early did you submit your letter? Or tell HR?

Re: HR Letter
I didn't have to write out anything formal. I just called HR and they emailed me a leave packet and I just had to fill in the blanks and have my dr fill out a form as well. I gave them an estimated leave date based on my due date and if that changes I just call them and let them know, even if it's just the day I go into labor and I don't come in. They'll start my leave the day I call.
I called them initially a couple of months ago...so maybe when I was 6 months or so....but I just now filled out paperwork this week.

Re: HR Letter
I didn't have to write anything formal either. They just asked for an estimated date of return. Also, if I surpass the 12 wks FMLA they don't technically need to hold my job.
