Should i tell them in pregnant??
I was laid off in November and have my first job interview since tomorrow morning because --go figure-- their dental assistant is about to have a baby--is would be part time and per diem until she comes back which is fine with me but should I tell them I am pregnant??
I have been telling employers and I haven't gotten those jobs, i mean they could easily not give me the job because I am PG and just say it was because they didn't think i was qualified enough so they are covering their ***.
Should I wait until I see if i got it and then tell them??, it's not a full time job or anything--it's basically like a temp job.

Truthfully, I wouldn't say anything. I think you will have a better chance of getting the job.

honestly, in THIS specific situation - i might. they may have concerns that you will come in, work out great and then not want to leave and it will hurt when their regular girl comes back....but if they know you have an end date - it may benefit you for this SPECIFIC job....

I am 9 weeks.....they way she explained it to me was that it would be per diem part time until her regular girl came back and as business picks up my hours will pick up.

I just got back from a job interview and I did not tell them that I'm pregnant. I'm 18 weeks along as of tomorrow.
I wanted a chance to actually be considered for the job and I don't think I would have been given that chance if they knew I was pregnant.
But like Jess said, your situation is a little bit different so I'm really not sure what the best thing would be for you to do.

You are so early in your pregnancy. I wouldn't tell them until you actually get a job offer. Plus it sounds like a perfect situation.

That is what i was thinking too since I am only 9 weeks, i am still early on. I am just worried like Mere09 that I won't be considered for the job.
I hope i can make it to the interview, the weather is supposed to be horrible tomorrow here...nasty wintery mix.

Since you are so early, I wouldn't tell them.
I think if you are past 12 weeks it is necessary because it is unfair of you not to let them know.
