Anyone else has burning while peeing but not a UTI?

Here is the history: I have a chronic UTI problem. I have had close to 50 of them in the last 4 years. I was seeing a urologist when I got pregnant and couldn't do any more diagnostic testing. My OB put my on Macrodantin dail to keep then UTI's away because he said they would cause problems with the baby but the past few days I have had burning only when I pee, but after I pee I am fine and before I am fine. Any clues??

I have an OB appointment in 30 minutes and Im going to bring it up but i was just wondering if any of you ladies had this happen?

I used to get this too... for some odd reason. Almost like an irritation.

Yes, I've had this on and off for the whole pregnancy and I think they have checked my urine for a UTI about 8 times..... NO UTI..but burns when I pee sometimes. I think its just irritation.

The funny thing is, the ONE time I did have a UTI was at the beginning of my pregnancy, it was a silent UTI so I had no symptoms

Yup - I had this with DD. I was always convinced I had a UTI but nope. Everything gets so swollen down there and I think it compresses the urethra and causes irritation

I get that too!! I was also worried about a UTI!!! Now it makes me feel better....

same here. it happened 2 times in my first few months and i kept making them test me for a uti but it was always negative. i guess its common!
