Names?!
Have you guys decided on names yet?
How'd you agree or decide on it?
me and BF dont agree much on names. he thinks all the girl names i choose are "stripper names" and he chooses all these REALLY roman names which are barely pronouncable.
If you havent decided yet what are your faves so far?

Yes, we decided a while ago. My lil boy's name will be Adriano Sebastian.
DH picked the 1st name and I picked the middle name.

Well, you certainly win for the most "original" name list on these boards!!  But, I personally LOVE some of the names you've picked out and I think most of them will suit any child of yours! 
I have to say I'm not a big fan of Elvis....he'll get teased WAY too much in school. But I love Cassius, Jasper, and Allister for boys.
As for the girls, I like Stella and Moxie. Mia and Holly kinda remind me of stripper names....I have to agree with your BF!!! 
I was originally going to name my boy Micah Jakob, but then I decided once his father left the picture (and I didn't HAVE to use Jakob as a middle name anymore), that Micah didn't flow very well with my last name....so, he's (as of now, anyway)...going to be Caleb Jackson (CJ for short). We'll see if it stays the same once I see him.
Have fun with the names....and remember that fighting over a name isn't worth it!!! It's all about compromise.

yeah my sweet Mia.... thats where i got the name. i mentioned it, not thinking he'd like it since it WAS her name but it sounds really good with his last name. but it being her name is my main reservation.

My chihuahua Isabella was going to be a Lola, but then I saw her and she was just too sweet and innocent looking so I named her after her mother Isabelle.

If my friend who is pregnant has a girl, she is going to name her Imogen. Boys names are harder because with girls names you can do cutesy and fun, but I think boys need stronger, more traditional names. Some names are cute when your kids are little, but my friends daughter Tallulah might not do so well as president!
My best friends daughter is Lydia, love that name.

Jesaroo, your bf and my dh sound so alike - my hubby loves unusual Roman (and Russian) names. Names are a constant topic of contention in our house!! We want something different, too. A couple of your names are on our list, too, but we're not even close to deciding.
My faves on your list are:
Cassius
Augustus (my dh wants Augustine)
Allister (I love this name)
Stella (one of my faves)

Lydia

DH and I were miles apart on names for awhile. He wanted more unusual names and I wanted something unique, but a little more common.At 27 weeks we have finally agreed on a name. We just kept bringing up different names until we found a name we could both agree on. Good luck!
BTW I love the name clementine for a girl. It makes me think of Kate Winslet's character in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind.

I like more traditional names...so I am no help! BUt I think I like Clementine, but not sure how you would shorten that name or would you just call her Clementine all of the time?? I like Stella too!! Or even Estella???

DH and I had a good idea of baby names before we got preggos. That being said we both wanted an Irish names, but I wanted more traditional while DH wanted more unique. We were 100% certain of our boys name and about 50% certain of our girls name

The girl's name we picked pretty quick. Her name will be Lauren Elizabeth. The boy's name we are having trouble with, DH keeps going through the boy's list and not liking the names so hopefully we can settle on his name soon.

I get the same thing from my DH - he calls all the names I like "stripper names"  I consider them just a little more unique. Meanwhile one of them is actually very biblical but anyway...
For example, one name I've always liked is Destiny. I'm not using it but DH would never go for it... "stripperish" or "porn star" is what I'd get on that one.
He's starting to come around on one of them... because I got Jake on my side!

for Leah are you pronouncing it one syl or two? both Leah and Lea can be pronounced Le-UH but IMO Leah is more the two syl way and Lea is the one syl way..
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Leah- if I am every blessed to get pregnant again, it will totally be on our list... Morgan is an awesome middle name for Leah
