She won't eat
Alex's first tooth broke through yesterday and I felt around and could feel that the one next to it is ready to come out soon as well. She cried literally the entire night through in my arms and refused to eat. Nothing from the bottle and just barely from nursing. I'm concerned that she's going to dehydrate! What do I do???

Give her some tylenol to ease the pain and just keep trying to nurse her. If it keeps up, call the doctor -- crying through the whole night is not usual for teething.

Nothing is usual with my daughter... she's the most sensitive baby on the planet! I ended up giving her some tylenol and her mood lifted a bit and I was able to get her to eat. I guess the pain is aggravated because she's also fighting RSV right now I'm crossing my fingers we don't have a repeat tonight!

that poor baby! My Nicholas had RSV last week, its so awful!! I hope she feels better soon! The last thing she needed was teeth this week too!!

Much better, thanks! She slept! She slept from 8-12am and then from 1am-4am and then again from 5am-8am. Not terrific, but at least we got something! And her charming, devilish personality is back... and her appetite. We took her to the doc this morning and they said she's fully recovered... whew!
