TMI question re: vaginal discharge
Sorry for the TMI question but I was just curious. Does anyone/Did anyone have vaginal discharge in the first trimester? I am almost 6 weeks and I have discharge that is yellow and clear. My OB says that its normal but I was curious if anyone else has/had this. I see my OB tomorrow morning but it was just bothering me and I had to ask. TIA!

throughout your whole pregnancy, you will have discharge. I think it is only alarming if it smells.
ETA: I mentioned it is alarming if it smells, i should take that back to say that if it is amniotic fluid...it doesn't necessarily smell and it is clear. If you see changes in the amount of discharge, I would bring it up to your ob

If it smells, does that mean a possible infection?

That is what I've been told. Did you bring it up to your doctor? They could run a test.

I will tomorrow. I started having this discharge as soon as I found out that I was pg. I told him and he actually described it to me before I even told him what it looked like and he said that it is normal. Every once in a while it smells a little funny (sorry for the TMI) so I was going to tell him tomorrow.

Its a NEVER ENDING FLOW!!! We don't get our periods for 40 weeks but instead we're blessed with the Niagra Falls of Discharge- aren't we lucky

My problem is I hate pantyliners, so instead I go through at least 3-5 pairs of undies a day! Can't wait to get new ones after this pregnancy!
I asked my doc about it and he said its totally normal! that coupled with the swollen puffiness that has become my vagina
