If I don't get a growth sono....
how will they estimate the size of the baby??

growth sonos are really unecessary..... they are very inaccurate, and relaly there is no reason to estimate teh babys size. Most practitioners measure your belly which is a better indicator of the babys size and proper growth...If your belly is measuring ahead you have a greater chance of having a larger baby, but this isn't always the case.

honestly, I've had two and now they've scheduled me a 3rd because at 37 weeks, baby dodge is measuring 7.6 lbs. Why oh why I need a 3rd is beyond my knowledge. I do enjoy seeing the bean and hearing the clear heartbeat, but come on, we know the baby is big, lets move on.

My OB doesn't do them unless they feel it's necessary - I would love to see  again!!
