What should I do?

So my IUI cycle was cancelled because I wasn't responding, and they said to call on CD 1 and I would come in on CD 2 for bloodwork/sono and start a second IUI cycle, well, I should be getting AF anyday now, but I am going to be away for the holidays. Do you think I should call my nurse and ask if I can go on BCP for 1 cycle that way I will definitely get my period and start next month? (lately my periods have be extremely LONG) or should I just wait and see when AF comes and pray its after I get back? I am on suppositories now b/c I did ovulate, but its been over two weeks and all BFN, so I should stop them but then I will definitely have AF over the holidays and won't be able to cycle.....

between my last IUI cycle and first IVF cycle, I was forced to take a break. I was given the option to either start back up on BCP until I could cycle (which was about 8 weeks later), or they could give me provera to bring my period on prior to starting IVF. I opted for the BCP, I thought it would be less stressful for me.
