It should be about the same. At the moment one dollar will get you .78 Euros.
In London a few weeks ago Anya Hindmarch bags were maybe 100 bucks cheaper there.

you may get a better deal at duty free...and you'd be refunded the VAT...but it won't be drastically cheaper.
like Beth said, you may find something UNIQUE to europe, which to me, especially with 948674723 people walking around with an LV is worth it's weight in Euros and Pounds.

depends on the exchange rate. but years ago when i went i got a great italian bag and then you get money (the tax) back at the airport. its nothing i have seen in the states and i have had the bag 10 years. i still love it.

Yes, they are, even with the exchange rate. My FIL is Parisian so my inlaws go every year (they are going next week) and my MIL checked it out this weekend.
