BTDT moms of more than 1...
Did anyone find that their second (or third etc) pregnancies were TOTALLY different from their first? Did you have a child of the same sex or different sex?
With DD I had MS and BAD heartburn/indigestion from 4.5 weeks until about 13 - but the heartburn continued until I delivered and the MS came and went. I was pretty achy and tired all the time. I also had bad food aversions to meat.
Now with this pregnancy - I only had some evening MS for about 3-4 weeks and I only get heartburn on a rare occasions or if I go too long between meals. I feel great and many days don't even feel pregnant. So I really can't complain.
So did anyone else have this? I wonder if this means I'm having a this time around.

My first three were all the same. And they were all boys. This one I had m/s for the 4th just felt totally different in general.... still do (at 28 weeks) and its...... a boy. So i guess it doesn't mean anything

With my first pregnancy ( ), I had no morning sickness & I got my energy back early in the second trimester.
This pregnancy ( ), I had m/s by 5 weeks. I threw up multiple times a day & felt sick 24/7 until about 16 or 17 weeks. And at 25 weeks, I'm still waiting for my energy to return.

Alot of the pregnancy was different and it was the opposite sex for me. I had MS this time around, less weight gain, my hair didn't stop growing like it did with DD.

Re: BTDT moms of more than 1...
Thank you!!! I guess I will just have to wait another 3 1/2 weeks or so to find out. Last time I was sure it was a boy (plus everyone was telling me it was) so I was surprised when they said girl - but my DH swore last time it would be a girl - this time - for some reason I don't have a feeling either way - DH thinks it is a boy - but I'm not convinced yet.

With DS#1 and #2 I had pretty good pregnancies. I was a more emotional with DS#2 and really though that I was having a girl but wound up having a boy. This pregnancy I have been much sicker than the other 2 but I don't know what this one is yet.

Re: BTDT moms of more than 1...
i just recently gave birth to my second and they are totally different babies. #1 was colicky beyond belief, #2 is a total dream...
pregnancy-wise the major difference was weight gain. with DD#1 i gain at least 35 (pushing 40 pounds), with DD#2 my total was 15 . DD#2 was also a larger baby . i didn't do anything differently other than running around after DD#1 while pregnant with DD#2. it took a good 7-9 months to get the weight off with DD#1, 3 weeks after DD#2 was born i weighed in at 4 pounds UNDER my pre-pregnancy weight...totally bizarre...
