BTDT women: Labor?
OK, so all day I'm feeling ULTRA PMSy...I have had leg pain for a few days now, which was a CONSTANT sign for me before AF would arrive, I know strange..but would be normal for me...
I'm getting period like cramps ALL day, but manageable ones and my boobs are hurting like they would pre AF....whats going on..I don't want to hold my breath here...bc I feel like she's just fooling with me

Definitely sounds like the pains I was having before DD was born. Are your hips bothering you too?

I'm not keeping my hopes up, and don't want to get too excited yet since nothing has been really happening or progressing at my Dr's visits!!!

I'm not keeping my hopes up, and don't want to get too excited yet since nothing has been really happening or progressing at my Dr's visits!!!
Anything is possible. Try walking a lot, if you have stairs, climb them. Every little bit helps. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

after I started labor I was less than 1 cm and my OB sent me home...I had DS the next day! - it can happen quick!

All I can say is when you have real contractions you know it. At least for me both times I knew it was labor starting. There weren't unbearable or anything but they were just different.
Sounds like your body is preparing itself.

If they are managable, I would think they were braxton hicks.
My labor started with regular period like cramps. They were managable at first, but they were distict, regular and they got more and more intense as the day went on.

I have been feeling weird all day too. i went for a walk up this hill in my neighborhood and felt the baby drop suddenly. Then I got really weak and had to call DH to come and get me.
When I got home, my belly was rock hard and started cramping. i feel a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen and sharp-ish cramps.
My belly is still very hard as i type this. I haven't felt like this before.
i have had no bloody show or water breaking.
I had 2 loose bowel movements yesterday (TMI...)
This could be it for us...or not...

I too have the hard belly, weird period cramps, and lots of low movement... i think more mucus guck was in the toliet too (sorry TMI) but i too am just not getting my hopes up...i plan to go to work tomorrow go to the doc and he tell me "i'll see ya next monday" then i will LOSE MY MIND

sounds like this is your body preparing itself!
lots of women i know, myself included, had PMS-like meltdowns in the hours before labor started. lots of women say that diarrhea precedes labor, although this didn't happen to me. it's those hormonal changes that trigger labor.
i hope this is it for you!!!!

This happened to me Sun Nov 30th and at 2am my water broke!!! I was sitting around all day thinking, ick, it totally feels like my period is coming and my back was killing me..well, Dec 1 my baby was born!!!

know whats crazy? ive been lil miss pregnant ray of sunshine this WHOLE TIME..until today..i have lost it at least 3 times, once on my son, once on dh and once on my parents (simultaneously)
all three have been me being a complete control freak, and absolute OCD lunatic..im so nervous that once i have this baby and cant do the things im used to doing by myself all the time, that im gonna freak..i HATE getting help from anyone doing ANYTHING..
im grumpy as hell, and crampy, and my geiney hurts, and i have SUCH grossology going on down there..
ugh, i cant take much more of this!

i have had LOTS of cramping / pain really low in pelvic area
no contractions that i know of - i was 1cm last monday and i go back to the dr. tomorrow
I have had BM everyday this week which has not happened since BFP
