i had an external for my breech baby at 37 wks and
he is she is now head down at 38 wks!!!
i must say i specifically didnt do a lot of research on externals b/c i didnt want to freak myself out!
anyhow, the dr. was amazing! it took him 3 tries but he finally got it!
the baby was fine the whole time, just being stubborn...
the procedure was uncomfortable but bearable. i closed my eyes and kept picturing the baby move downward...

YAY... this post gives me hope. I go for another sono on Tues (36 weeks) and if baby is still breech, they will try this.

Mine was breeched at 34 weeks too but finally turned at 36 weeks. There's still plenty of time.
My OB told me only about 2% of babies actually are breeched by the time they're ready to be delivered.
