Honestly, this is just something you will both learn to be calm about with time. The first trimester especially, everyone is a wreck.

You have 9 months to prepare for this. What is he freaking out about the most? My mine, I think it's the money aspect. Men worry...more than we think. Just keep reinforcing that everything is going to be ok. Definitely talk to him.

Yeah, it is a scary thing. I had so many mixed emotions the first couple of months, and my husband was going out of his mind. But we talked and things have gotten better, although of course we are both still very nervous. Just keep the lines of communication open so no one bottles things up. Then you will be fine.

It's also hard at the end. Now that I have officially started maternity leave, DH has been freaking out more about $$$$ even though we have savings and he should have a lot of $$$$ coming in from jobs after the new year.
It's funny too because he talks about "just getting this baby out" even more than I do many days!!

Re: how to calm husband down
I have 10 days left until my due date and I'm still worried about things! The thing to remember is that some level of worry is normal, just dont the worry take over your whole life. I dont think the worry will ever go away, you will worry about your child for the rest of your life! Try to keep yourself busy and enjoy every day that this miracle is forming inside of you. Now that I am so close to the end, I can honestly say it goes by really quickly! Feel good!
