Peapod and preggo

Has anyone ever used Peapod on here? I've been having crazy cramps for the last day or so, and I need to get things from the grocery store BUT I can't imagine leaving the house right now.

Do they deliver same day?
How is the quality of the items they deliver?

I've never used Peapod before and I think I'm going to take the plunge.

TIA!

T

Re: Peapod and preggo

I use them a lot (with 2 kids under 2)...its next day delivery at the earliest...you can set it up to deliver any time in the coming 2 weeks...the selection of produce and meat is actually better than in the store on a Sunday because they pick the orders late Saturday and you don't get the leftovers! I have gotten a lot of free delivery codes from them, so I rarely have to pay for delivery either...I find that I save tons of money using it because I don't impulse buy!

I use them a lot. Esp now PG and already having a 2 1/2 yr old. If I order early in the morning I can usually get next day delivery.

My moms been using it for a while now and she loves it. Every once in a while the tomatoes come squished but its not often and everything else has been great.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE peapod..at 8 weeks i was in a car accident and broke my collar bone and tore my knees, couldnt walk..and was in bed for over 2 months..peapod was the only way we ate!! The produce was better then some of the stuff i pick out lol same with meats for my son and dh..
i started missing the supermarkets, so finally went back after my leg brace came off, but i noticed, i spend much more money cause im starving looking at food lol...
i actually just fell and may have a fractured ankle (going to the dr tomorrow) and since im 9 months pregnant, getting around like this is insane...so i just started using them again
id recommend then to ANYONE...its so worth it!

ETA: if you order before 3 you can get a delivery the next day
