Sweater dresses
I got one from VS that I really like. I put it on this am with my Spanx hihger power tights and bra. The damn material clings to me..I look too lumpy. It's clinging to my butt..could be the tights I guess.
I could wear a full slip I guess.
Any other suggestions? It's the right size, it's just the way it hangs is not right. Maybe I got the wrong material.

Re: Sweater dresses
Would static guard help at all to lessen the clinging?

it's not a static issue..it's how the material is laying. It's a very thin material and it fits but on my tush and back looks horrible.

Re: Sweater dresses
Unfortunately sometimes it’s just he material and/or the way it’s cut… I have this problem with some sweater dresses too- especially if they are a thin material. I would try the slip first before I gave up on it though…

does it provide enough support for the girls or is that not the one you have?
I saw that on the Spanx website but it said that you could wear a bra underneath it.
then do you also wear tights or stockings?

Re: Sweater dresses
Some are just like that - I find the banana ones to be great and not do this at all.

Re: Sweater dresses
No, it is just a slip. My lower tummy and my hips/behind are my problem. I wear tights underneath it.

Re: Sweater dresses
Sweater dresses are tricky. If it looks lumpy, I would just return it. It sounds like the material is just wrong for you. I have this problem with VS sometimes and I've tried the Spanx with no avail.

I'm inclined to think you're right. I have to return a bunch of other things. But I'm keeping my free tote bag!
