How was the actual renovation process? We are renovating our kitchen and the demo starts on Jan 5th. I am nervous to be w/o a kitchen for a month. Any tips?

well dh did all of the work except for the floors and countertop and its a small kitchen. demo took 2 days, waited a week for the floors then 2 days to install the cabinets. the longest wait was for the counter, about a month. it was torture not having a sink and i'm so done with take out. you never really know how much you use your kitchen sink till its gone. my only tip is to get your take out menus ready.  and unfortunately we used paper and plastic the whole time so we weren't very green

Your kitchen looks beautiful! How was consumers to deal with? We are going to be redoing our kitchen within a few weeks and I wanted to price them out too! Love the colors of your kitchen you must be so happy it is done!

consumers was awesome. they gave us the best price out of home depot, lowes and a few small stores in huntington. when dh had problems installing the cabinets, our salesman actually walked him through the installation over the phone  he must have thought we were idiots!!
