DH Found a Dog
He was walking down our block in Setauket.
his tag had an address and #, the # is disconnected and the house is in Centereach (not too close, but not that far).
I looked up the house and its for sale - I called the R/E agent and left a message.
Where can I bring the dog where he wont be put to sleep? I called Save-A-Pet and left a message and IM on hold with Brookhaven Shelter (I want to see if they can just check to see if he has a chip, I won't leave him there).
Anyone looking for a Male Golden Retreiver?
 i feel so bad for him, but DH wont let me keep him.
ETA: WE FOUND THE OWNER! Brookhaven already picked him up (it was too cold outside for him and Bailey was freaking out with the dog in the house)
