Stomach issues
I know lots of women suffer from constipation during pregnancy, anyone have the opposite problem? And is it normal to have it in the first trimester?

Re: Stomach issues
i have ibs-d.....in the beginning - i had some 'normal' days....meaning i couldn't stop going.....i believe i have read that it's normal though....
be very careful though - your pre-natals could have a stool softener in them...

Re: Stomach issues
I have had some days of the same problem. I will be 10 weeks on Saturday and I have had this off and on since the 6 week mark. I have read about it and it is normal and my doctor said it is as well. Honestly, for me that is how my system is (I usually don't vomit).
Hope it gets better, but you are not alone.

Re: Stomach issues
Thinking back to the beginning, I went watery number 2 quite a bit! Especially in the middle of the night I'd go running literally LOL.

Re: Stomach issues
thanks for your replies! Every little thing that happens to me gets me nervous- so i just wanted to check. I've been fine with the prenatals- unless i take them without food, then it upsets my stomach. And i think thats what happened yesterday- but it was the first full case of "omg- i need to run to the bathroon NOW" and it lasted on and off all day and some of the night! I hope it doesnt happen again!

Re: Stomach issues
I have had the same issue for the past few days and I couldn't go to work. It suddenly stopped- and I am so happy that it did. Just make sure you drink alot!

Re: Stomach issues
I had an upset stomach almost every day throughout the first trimester and most of the second trimester. I still have stomach issues even now. Pregnancy definitely affects your digestive system.
