1st visit with RE today
So I had blood work done and an ultrasound. Next week I have HSG and the week after we go back in to speak with RE on our course of treatment. RE said DH's SA was pretty good. I wanted to hear it from him even though the urologist that DH saw said they were fine. We took the day off just to relax and I'm glad we did.
I am now hoping the results from the blood work come out okay and praying that the HSG won't hurt. Even though the RE warned me I may feel some pain.

Re: 1st visit with RE today
The HSG may hurt a little- but for a VERY short time! Just take some motrin beforehand and bring some w/ you to take right after! Sounds good so far! Good luck!

Re: 1st visit with RE today
Definitely take the motrin before AND after. The HSG was more uncomfortable than painful for me - but everyone is different.
Good luck!

Re: 1st visit with RE today
I had a bit of cramping after my HSG. Motrin before and after is definately a good way to go! No pain, just discomfort. I hope you get good results back on your bloodwork.
Good luck with future treatments!

Glad you are on your way! Definitely take the Motrin, for some girls the HSG hurts more than others, I had alot of discomfort.

HSG was painful for me, but it happens so fast that it is over before you know it.
Good Luck!

Re: 1st visit with RE today
I had the HSG last Friday...I took 2 motrin 2 hours before, another 2 1 hour before and another two right after it was done. I did have some cramping and spotting afterwards but it was definately bearable! No worse than normal AF cramps.
