My work shower.............
was supposed to be on Thursday.
I'm still home on bed rest and I kind of knew about it but then a few girls told me yesterday.
They wanted to know what to do with the presents that people have brought in.
The dr. said I can go back to work Dec 1st since I'll be 36 weeks.
Oh well - it kinda stinks but it was the thought that counts!!

the thing is that this thursday is parent teacher conferences and there is a break from 3pm -5pm and that was when they were doing it
there really is no other day / time when all the teachers are together
but it's ok
what could i do

Kinda the same thing happened to me. I went out on disability in September, and the other 5th grade teachers had wanted to throw me a shower. We wound up just inviting them to my regular shower, which is this coming Saturday.
