Need help ASAP- interview suit
I have an interview today. I ALWAYS a black skirt suit to interviews. I like to be as conservative as possible.
But this morning, I can't find my two favorite black suit skirts. 
I have a great skirt suit which is gray with a light plaid print. Would it be bad to wear to a first interview for a federal government position?

I work for the government and while I am sure every agency is different - I think the suit sounds fine!

I think it sounds fine and classic. Just do classic accessories and you should be fine!

as long as you are not wearing a flashy color (which it isn't) then the suit will be fine! Good luck on the interview!!

For a fed position, any suit that is black, grey or navy works fine, as long as it is conservative and you accessorize conservatively.

Thanks guys. I ended up wearing a black dress wiht a shirt underneath (its sleevless). You can't see the shirt underneath unless i take the jacket off.
