R.I.P. Elchim my love...

You lasted 7 solid years without a hiccup, so how can I be mad at you that sparks fired our of your motor on Saturday morning when I was already running 10 minutes behind schedule...

Having to use an old school Conair blow dryer to straighten these frizzy kinky locks really solidified my true love for you. What normally takes me 10-15 minutes and leaves my hair looking smooth, shiny and full of bounce took 25-30 minutes with the opposite outcome. My saturday afternoon bouffant was unruly and ended up ruining my day.

Purchasing your replacement was difficult yet filled my heart with hope that my hair will once again lay on my head in peace knowing it looks so good.

I used your brother this morning for the first time. We had a moment of silence remembering your loyalty to me through all these years. You'll be missed Mr. 2001 Elchim. I'll continue to think of you as your brother transforms my wild and unmanageable locks into glossy, dazzling creations.

BTW.. I seriously don't know how anyone uses those regular blow dryers. They have no power!!

To all you high powered hair dryer virgins, I HIGHLY recommend you convert to something with a little umph behind it! It'll CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!

They are for us fine-haired ladies. Those high powered ones would just blow my hair everywhere & get it all in knots! (It does't take much , really. .Chat Icon )

I bought mine a few months ago. And sometimes it feels like it's losing it's power, but I am not sure if I am just use to my conair or if there is something wrong with it.
