If you wear tinted moisturizer...
how is the coverage? is it decent, or just a hint of coverage? I have mild roseaca and wondering if it would cover it up.
also, do you use your regular face moisturizer underneath, or would that be too much?
I'm looking for an alternative to my mineral makeup for the winter when my skin is VERY dry!!
eta: I am specifically looking to try Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer? would love to hear your reviews

Re: If you wear tinted moisturizer...
I have the same problem with Bare Minerals in the winter. My skin is too dry for it. I decided to try out the LM tinted moisturizer. I ordered it from Sephora and haven't received it yet. It got good reviews from Sephora's website and Makeup Alley.
I have been using Cover Girl tinted moisturizer the past week. I was pleasantly surprised that my skin felt good and the coverage was fair. I used it over my regular moisturizer. I'm hoping the LM brand covers a little better though.

Re: If you wear tinted moisturizer...
i use LM tinted moisturizer, but only in the winter. it's not enough to use just that - so i use LM mineral powder on top. my skin absorbs the tinted moisturizer within a few hours and then it's like you have nothing on.
i personally use my face moisturizer underneath - L'Oreal revitalift. at the LM makeup counter, the consultant suggested i use their "primer" which i think is just a fancy word for moisturizer. the point is, you should have some barrier already on your skin so you don't absorb as much of the tinted moisturizer.
edited to add that i definitely think it would even out your skin but i would recommend still using a light amount of your normal mineral powder as well
hope that makes sense!

Re: If you wear tinted moisturizer...
I use Cetaphil as my regular moisturizer, then I put on some primer (Smashbox light) and also the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (oil free!)
It gives my skin light coverage - and DH always says that he can't even tell I'm wearing anything.

Re: If you wear tinted moisturizer...
thanks for the replies. I really want to use the discount code to buy this, but I want to try it fist at the store and see if I like the coverage and how it looks on me.

Re: If you wear tinted moisturizer...
I either use Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer when my skin is dry during the winter months with her Oil-Free Primer under it.
My only complaint about tinted moisturizer is that I feel like my skin must be perfectly clear to use it. If I have a small breakout I feel like it shows.

Sephora does returns even after you've used the product. I've returned a couple things after having adverse reactions after using them.

Re: If you wear tinted moisturizer...
I use the Benefit one. You really have to moisturize before you use it or you will see how dry your skin really is when you put on the tinted moistruizer. I use my regular winter facial moisturizer,l which is typically heavier than the summer one.
As far as coverage goes, I like it. But I don't like to look like I have make-up on. It does even out your skin but it doesn't cover bumps.

Re: If you wear tinted moisturizer...
bought Laura Mercer when I went to Vegas in Sept from Sephora..It was recommended for me...I also wear mineral but switch in the winter...I REALLY like it so far...I don't think it's very heavy nor is it cakey...It covers my roseaca well but doesn't look fake. I would suggest it. I do put on my mineral vitamins and then this...That seems to keep me moisturized and I have an acne barrier that helps my skin......I ♥ ♥ ♥ it!
