Rec'd your hairdresser!
Ive been going to T Carltons for years...
Danielle does my color
and
Amanda does my cuts.
I cant say enough good things about them, but I just cant keep up with spending over $200 every 3 months
I usually get high lights and low lights...
Can anyone rec'd someone that is a bit cheaper???
I'm not too concerned about the cuts, because their price isn't unreasonable.
I'm mostly concerned with finding a good colorist, however someone who could do both would be a double whammy though
ETA- Suffolk County please

im not sure what area you are in, but i see emily for cut and color at le salon in east williston. its usually around $125 for both. i also get hi and low lights. usually a full head.

I used to swear by Lemon Tree until the person they took before me even though I had an appointment I had made a few weeks in advance swore she had one too at the same time, and they had to do my highlights and color, only to do our hair at the same time- we both got color etc and they overproccessed me, becuase she was making such a fuss, only in the end she did not like her hair either- I never went back there ever again. I now use Karma in Merrick and have been very happy there.

I would reccommend my girl but its the same price if not more. Only good thing is that if you get a color process done on Thursday you get a free haircut (which is normally 65  )
I'd love to find somewhere that was cheaper but Im happy with her, and Im a fanatic with my hair color, so Im afraid to go somewhere else

I go to soto salon in deer park. I only get my hair cut there (by Elle) but she's great. I know someone who gets their hair colored by Laura (I think) and they like her. Go to their website http://sotosalon.com/ and all the prices are there.
