It's a disc that you heat in the microwave and it's supposed to remain warm for up to 12 hours. I bought one for Lilly yesterday to pop in her crate for during the day while we're at work.
I'm dong things a bit backwards and looking for reviews *after* I bought the product. Par for the course for me lately, though!
