Cramping @ 32 weeks
Should I be worried?
I feel the baby kicking/moving around. But since Monday my stomach has not been itself. Prior to starting my period I would alway get this upset stomach that would have very minor cramps and I'd have to go the bathroom (#2 )...I've had this since Monday. Today the cramps have intensified but they're still not so bad that I'd rush to call the doctor. They are isolated in my lower abs/pelvic area. Sometimes there's quick and sharp. Mostly they're just crampy without the sharp pain. I don't have any bleeding with these cramps.
Is this normal? Is this Braxton Hicks? I didn't think it was BH because I thought those weren't suppose to hurt.
TIA

I would call the doctor and tell them what is going on.. you might be having contractions... and they might want to send you to L&D to get checked out... that is the exact time I started to have contractions with my son and I went into preterm labor..
Keep in updated

Re: Cramping @ 32 weeks
My doctors office still didn't call me back
My sister is telling me to call them again (it's been just over 2hrs) but I feel like I'd be bothering them. I'm getting worried though because my lower back is sore now.
I'll give them another 10mins and then call again. I think this is odd that they haven't called back considering the circumstances.
I'll keep you posted.

Your not bothering them that's their job. Cramping like that is not normal and someone needs to speak to you about what your experiencing. I would keep calling until you can get some answers.

Re: Cramping @ 32 weeks
I just spoke to the nurse. I told her that I timed the contractions and that I had 3-4 contractions per hour, my lower back hurt, I have cramps and alot of pressure in my pelvic bone. She said this is normal and they are definitley braxton hicks. She said if they get to 10mins apart or I feel pressure (like I need to start pushing) to call the emergency line right away. She told me that I need to lay down and call it a night.
We'll see how things turn out tomorrow. I have a doctors appointment Monday morning so I'll make sure that I bring this up with my doctor.
Thank you for listening.

Re: Cramping @ 32 weeks
Glad you got to a nurse..i have been cramping a bit also, told it is normal. Some days are fine others are icky. They also told me indigestion can feel like labor pains sometimes if you get gas trapped in the stomach.
Sounds like the nurse gave good advice. Trust me, if they were worried, they would bring you in right away. Hang in there!

Re: Cramping @ 32 weeks
You can FM me any time.. I am shocked that they did not want you to get checked out... I had the same thing and it was due to dehydration... Make sure you drink plenty of water and rest as much as possible. If it still bothers you tomorrow call back and insist on being seen.. And when you call tell them you want to speak to a nurse right away....
Feel better
