I think I had contractions last night...

I don't remember having BH contractions with Jared but last night my whole stomach tightened up like a rock and I had a sharp pain next to my belly button for a few minutes. It only happened 3 times within about a half an hour and then they went away.

I'm guessing these are Braxton Hicks?

I also have my weekly appointments now at the doctor and they're not doing any internals. They told me that I have to wait until 38 weeks. I'm having my c/s at the 39th week...so I get one week of internals?

Okaaay....not that I'm complaining but dont' they want to know what's going in there?

I didn't think they did internals with a planned c/s.....why don't you tell the doctor next apt that you are concerned and see what they say.

they dont need an internal to see whats going on in there...

Internals really only show dialation which doesnt factor in with a C/S

why are they doing one at all is more the question.. *shrug*

Still tell your doc of the trouble you've had, i know I was told very clearly to call with any bleeding, contractions or if my water broke.. and my water broke at 37 weeks.
