Help! I think something is wrong with my dogs skin

I hope someone can help me. I have a 3 yr old yorkie and she developed a weird mark on her skin. It kind of looks like a birth mark but I don't think it is.

I asked the groomer and she said she doesn't know what it is but she has seen it on dogs and doesn't think its anything bad. Im just worried that it is cancer or something horrible.

I was hoping that if I posted some pics someone might be able to tell me what it is or at if I should worry. Oh and it doesn't hurt her when I press on it or scratch at it.

I don't know why the other picture didn't post.

But you can see it in the picture that did anyway. The other picture is in my album and might be easier to see.

I know its late so I think I'll bump this in the morning. Hopefully someone will recognize it.

Is it swollen? Does it look like a blister or that there's fluid inside? If you press and move it, does it feel like there's something hard beneath the skin?

I haven't seen this before, it just looks like a freckle to me, but if you're worried, why not ask the vet about it? I hope you find out it's nothing.

Wait... is it the little bump or that big round dark spot? The one that looks like a bruise

Ok i re read your op.. its the dark spot.. Its just skin pigmentations.. My dog gets new ones all the time.. I might have a picture of one in my album under LOLA loves Vito .. I am going to look.. She has them on her belly, her back under the fur.. Hers look black to me because she is so white..

Its the one of her sitting up in the couch with brown spots all over her belly.. They were not always there.. as she gets older more come.. HTH

So its normal? and not necessarily dangerous?
