If you were scheduled for a C-Section....
How far in advance did they schedule it?
I will need another C-Section and was just wondering when they give you the word.

I will be scheduled with this one. They told me that they will schedule it for about a week before and that the actual scheduling will be done at the 32 week appointment.

Not sure precisely what you are asking, but I'll answer as best I can.
They scheduled me for the 1sy PG at 28 weeks when they were 90% certain that my placenta would not move. They were only allowed to schedule it 7-10 days prior to the EDD. I was encouraged, because of my previa, to begin getting weekly amnios beginning at 36 weeks so that I could go for the c-section as soon as Gs lungs were mature. I went into labor at my 2nd amnio at 37w2d and had him that afternoon.
With this baby Dr is already prepping paperwork for the c-section. She began this after our 16w appointment. I may not have to have one, but she wants to get the paperwork done b/c it is easier to cancel a c than to schedule one.

i'm scheduled for a c at 38 weeks, but if it was a single pregnancy it would be 39 weeks.

They scheduled my c-section at my 38 week appt. for the following week (exactly 39 weeks).

I had a c-section with DS and was schedule in March for a June birth. I was 39 wks 2 days.

The day my Dr confirmed my pregnancy we picked out my c-section date. I delivered 10 days before my due date

Believe it or not- I got my c-section date at my 1st OB appointment at 12 weeks ! I was een by an RE before then- and conceived w/ IVF, so we already knew my due date- so the OB scheduled it fr one week prior to that !

I got mine 4-6 weeks in advance, it was scheduled for 39 weeks 1 day. My doc does them in 39th week.
