The dr came in in the morning. Then I was allowed to leave anytime after that.

yup, I was released early by my Dr and then peds had to release the baby.
With Erik, I think it was around 10-11am by the time I was discharged. It was later with Ella, but thats because they were waiting on some test results.

i think it depends on what time your dr comes to sign the release papers...
i think it was around 1pm for me...

It all depends when your doctor and the pediatrician show up. My doctor was in at 9 but the ped didn't show until 12 so we left around 1. We saw someone else checking out at 10 at night.

I delivered Saturday and 1:25. I left around the same time on Monday afternoon.

my Dr came at 7, the Ped came at 9, I was able to leave at 9:30.

It really depends on the doctors...my ped. showed up super early (I love him) and my OB (love him too) showed up around 10:30 am. I left shortly after...
They offer this maternity class while you're in the hospital and if you take it, then discharging you is quicker because the nurse doesn't have to do the whole lecture...

It is really up to when your Dr. and the pediatrician release you guys. With DS the ped. was their at 6am and released him. My OB didn't come until around 10:30am or so. Once she came and checked on me and I showered and gathered everything together it was around 1:30pm when we left. It was also a Saturday so I am guessing that is why she took a little longer.
With DD, we were both released in the morning and home by noon. That was a Monday.
I also delivered at Winthrop.

I was cleared in the am but didnt get released until mid afternoon
it was new years day, maybe they were short handed?
