Re: Graco or Evenflo Travel System?

My Evenflo didn't seem to hold up very well. My DD became accustomed to resting her feet against the tray and the tray came off within a month. She wasn't an "infant" at that point so thank goodness we didn't need it for the carseat to rest on. I just wasn't thrilled with the fact that it broke so easily. We stopped using it after that.

I would go on amazon and check out the customer reviews of both travel systems... you find out the good / bad/ ugly really fast that way

I didn't get either, but wanted to mention something from when we looked at them. When you put the carrier/car seat on top of the stroller you have to clip it in with 2 little red clips. If you lean on the carrier...even a little bit with no force or effort, the carrier flips off the stroller. My friend pointed this out to me when we were looking an we went to the store and tried it out. Just a little something to mention.

Re: Graco or Evenflo Travel System?

i'd hate to open a whole new can of worms for you but more often than not i read complaints from moms that have travel systems. of course there are those that love it but i find that overall it has more negatives..

they often complain that they are too big and bulky.. i mean they make sense to buy it bc it has eveyrhting you need but as the baby gets further along, most moms end up hating the stroller...

i dont have any experience or advice to offer yet, but i just thought i'd let you know what i've come across in my travel system research..

good luck!!

do a quick search on travelsystems...

Re: Graco or Evenflo Travel System?

I am going with graco because they have a longer warranty period (1 yr vs. 3 months for evenflo).

I went with the Metrolite system because it much lighter than most travel systems. I didn't want the big heay, bulky system. I ended up reading reviews for months going back and forth between the lighter travel system and a snap and go frame and ended up deciding on the Metrolite.
