Yeast infection

I seem to have a yeast infection caused by antibiotics for a UTI (I can't win) - anyway, I just called my OB and she said I can just use monistat. Should I use the 3 day or the 7 day? Just looking for opinions - want to make sure it goes away!

I am in the same boat. I got one from being on antibiotics for a cough.

Re: Yeast infection

I've had 3 yeast infections since my pregnancy started and have been put on a prescription cream each time. First time she put me on a 3 day aNd it didn't go away. Next two times was 7 days and that worked much better. So I would say 7 for the monistat but you might want to double check with doc.

good point....maybe i will try the 3 day since i have my monthly checkup on monday - they are going to check to see if it's still there anyway - then if not, i can move on to the 7 day.....oh joy!
