oh no....not again this week. please help

I hate going to the RE...I am going out of my mind.
At 5 1/2 weeks, when they saw nothing but an empty sac, they told me not to get my hopes up, since it was empty, and my HCG Levels only doubling every 48 hours instead of every day.
At 6 1/2 weeks, we had a pole and a yolk sac, but no heartbeat.

Today, at 7 weeks, 4 days, we have a heartbeat! Doctor is happy. Then I get a call just nowfrom the stupid nurse saying that I must come in Tuesday, b/c the heart rate is slow and that could be a sign of loss, so I need to go in again.

They have been nothing but negative since the start....yet I keep growing....and today we saw a HB, and my levels are increasing, and they are still giving me bad vibes.
I believe this baby is okay. I truly do....
They are driving me nuts.... I can't take this anymore.

Honestly you are still early, the HB gets stronger early on as the baby grows, I feel they're being insanely cautious, but they are being ultra negative, and I'm sooooo sorry that you are going through this!!!!!!!! Try not to stress yourself out (i know its much easier said than done)

I agree, you're still very early! I know it's hard not to stress. I don't know why they told you though that your hcg should double every day. It should double every 48 hours early on, not everyday.

I bet your little one is just a few days behind. It seems that way since the beginning with you, and is definitely NOT a bad thing!!!

@ 7 weeks HB was only 110 and they said that was fine as long as his HB increases by my appt next week @ 12 weeks

Here's a little story to give you some hope. My SIL has done IVF multiple times and it has resulted in no result or miscarriage. This time, she got pregnant and her numbers looked great. She went in a second time a couple of days later and the numbers went up but only 25% and they should have went up 65%. So the doctor said, "this never ends good". My SIL was convinced it was the end and even had a beer or two. She was hoping her numbers would go down at this point so she wouldn't need another d& C. They went in the next week, and her numbers went up again. Again, the doctor said he still wasn't hopeful. This went on for 9 weeks even with hearing the hearbeat. Well, now she is 21 weeks and all is great!!! The doctor can't explain why things progressed slowly but there is absolutely nothing to make them think that there is anything wrong with this pregnancy at this point. try and remain calm and remember think those positive thoughs. my baby's heart beat was low in the begging around 116 and then next appt 148 then following appt 178. So hang in there.

Seriously, I also think they are being needlessly negative. They should know very well that it was too early to see anything initially, and that the heartrate is still increasing at this point.

If you continue to feel bad vibes from them, I hate to say it, but I suggest you consider switching physicians. they are needlessly producing an emotional rollercoaster. You don't need that, and they likely may continue that way all the way until delivery
