I believe it's testing for the way your body absorbs the glucose in the drink. If it doesn't absorb properly then you may have gestational diabetes.

Me neither. I've developed a lovely gag reflex. I don't know how I'm going to be able to keep that drink down.

I held my nose most of the time as I ingested the drink. It helped it go down much faster.

usually around 26 weeks. I had GD with my first pregnancy so I have to go at 16 weeks. I'm going tomorrow morning.
