When is the Echo done?
I had it done with Andrew but I can't remember for the life of me when it is done.

A fetal echocardiogram?
I had mine at 19.5 weeks. I believe it's usually done around the same timeframe as the Level II b/c they can see everything by that point, KWIM?
ETA: For the other ladies-- it's only done if you have a pre-existing heart condition (like me), or if they pick something up at the Level II they want to review more in-depth. It's not a standard test during pregnancy that everyone gets.

I had mine done at the level 2 but they had me come back to get better pics today at 22 weeks 6 days

I was told the best time to do it is between 22 and I believe 24 weeks.

I was high-risk w/ DS so I had it with my level II. I had to go back to finish it as they could not get a steady reading for a long enough time.
So far no talk of getting one this time. I guess we'll see at the level II.

I had it because they couldn't get great pics at the Level 2 and because I am having twins

When I had it done with Andrew I had to go to a special place and a cardiologist is the one that performed the test. They even taped it to look it over again later.
It showed the blood pumping through the heart and everything it was amazing!!
DH was born with a heart defect and my sister was born with a very very rare heart defect. That is why I have to get them done.

I had that when they did the doppler it sounds like. The blood in is one colour and the blood out is another. It was very interesting!
