Hunger, what's the deal?
Wondering if this happens to other people.
Most days, I do not need to eat a lot at all to be satisfied. I am just not that hungry.
But then on some days-- I can be ravenous. I have to say, that the ravenous days are more few and far between. I get hungrier much earlier-- where I need snacks and need to eat lunch earlier. I eat the SAME breakfast every day, at about the same time. Some days it holds me over pretty late.

Re: Hunger, what's the deal?
DH has now been asking me every day what I eat and tells me when he thinks it's enough or not...
But, why should I eat if I am not hungry? That's a basic rule of healthy eating.
I have already gained 11 lbs at 18 weeks-- so, clearly, I am eating SOMETHING.

Re: Hunger, what's the deal?
lately I'm the same way. I'm on my third meal of the day right now. And then other days, most days, I'm perfectly satisfied with just 3 meals and no snacking

It's normal for your hunger level to vary. I wouldn't skip a meal, but don't worry if you're not as hungry some days.

My DH is the same exact way and is telling me that I'm not eating enough..well at 23 weeks I'm up roughly 17 pounds and believe me thats not coming from not eating!!!! But there are some days that I'm ravenous and others that I can go with out food for hours and I also get full very easy now.....

Re: Hunger, what's the deal?
I have days like that too, this morning I felt like I couldn't get enough food!
I had Cheerios @ 6AM, oatmeal at 8:30AM, ½ cup of yogurt @ 9:30, granola bar at 11AM, then a turkey sandwich, peach and string cheese for lunch! I finally feel satisfied (thank God!) but for awhile there I was wondering what the heck my problem is today!
