Did anyone show VERY early?

Since my BFP, I have had serious bloat (from the IVF meds, too). I am 8 weeks today, and it's only getting worse! I am DEFINITELY showing (more bloat than anything) and can't really hide it that much longer. Does this bloat go away? Did anyone else show very early??

Re: Did anyone show VERY early?

I was very bloated at first too! I think by 8 weeks my ovaries had finally gone down to a normal size which helped alieviate some of the bloating.

I'm now 16 weeks, and I'm showing a little. I had a belly to begin with but I definately see a change in my belly.

Re: Did anyone show VERY early?

I don't know about IVF and its effects but I know that the bloat does go away for a few weeks. I think it I hit about 10 weeks and it went away and I went back to normal, my pants buttoned again. Now at 15 weeks I have a little belly so my pants aren't buttoning again, but this time it's baby, not bloat. I can still hide it though if I want. Chat Icon

Re: Did anyone show VERY early?

I had serious bloat throughout the first trimester. I think it went down a bit around 10 or 11 weeks. I was wearing a bella band by 9.5 weeks and maternity pants by 14 or 15 weeks.

Re: Did anyone show VERY early?

I have some serious bloating at 9.5 weeks.

I don't think it looks like I have a baby belly though. It probably looks like I've been eating too many cookies.

Re: Did anyone show VERY early?

I was really bloated for the first 9 weeks then the bloat went down and now I have a little baby belly....but not that obvious yet. However I am still wearing my pre-pregnancy pants...unbuttoned...I don't want to buy maternity pants yet!

Chat Icon Chat Icon This is the same for me (I am 8 weeks also w/ IVF)!!!!!!!!!!!! I just bought a bella band today and I am freaking out b/c I go back to work tomorrow and I look like the marshmallow man! I usually wear a size 2, now I am barely getting into a size 4 with the buttons open. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon How is this possible? I wouldn't mind it but, I barely have an appetite and I have not been eating any junk (because I feel so gross to begin with!)

yes, I was told that too at 6-8 wks PG. It never went down. You could tell I was PG by 8 weeks if you looked. I could not zip my pants anymore and had to buy maternity clothes. I slowly grew every week. I never had a huge spurr in the last 2 months.

Re: Did anyone show VERY early?

my bloat started to go away at about 11 weeks. my soft bloaty belly was replaced slowly by a harder belly of the same size. I don't think my belly really increased in size from 11-17 weeks Chat Icon
