Round ligament pain

What exactly does round ligament pain feel like?

I am 8w1d and since my BFP, I have been cramping/stretching. However, yesterday and this morning, the cramping is much more intense, and my abdomen feels sore. I am NOT doubled over in pain, but the cramping does feel different. Fortunately, there is no spotting/bleeding. I'm wondering if I should call the doctor

I felt it more in my 2nd trimester. I did have a lot of stretching and cramping in the 1st trimester but the round ligament pain felt more like a muscle pull. When I turned to the side or got up out of bed it just felt like my ligaments and muscles were being pulled and strained. It was a bit of a different feeling then my uterus stretching, at least for me. Feel better.

You probably won't have RLP until the second trimester. For me, it's a really sharp pain on my side, usually right above my leg.

Around 9 or 10 weeks, the cramping and stretching became more intense (like bad AF cramps), but this was different from RLP.

Oh wow, i think itotally had this last night, i was in bed lying on my side and went to tuen and had this awful pain on the other side, like a pulled muscel

Round Ligament pain is more in the second trimester I believe. I got it around 17 weeks.

For me it was like an EXTREMELY sharp stretching pain in my bikini area (if I wore bikinis)
