Anyone ever hear of this....
So my dr. office called to say they want me to re-take a urine test b/c it came back with some bacteria.
They want me to drink as much as possible and retake the test.
Anyone else?
I'm drinking water and cranberry juice like it's going out of style.

they probably just want to make sure you don't have a UTI - they will have you do a "clean catch" this time to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

same thing happened to me- i didnt pee enough before i peed in the cup- guess you have to let it run a little first.
came back fine the second time.

Totally common if you end up having a UTI or something like that. Def. do a clean catch for your next sample....wipe with one of the towelettes in the bathroom, pee a little in the toilet then pee the rest in the cup.

It happened to me too. They thought I was getting a UTI. I was told to drink cranberry juice and more water and they would retake it. They did and nothing showed up.
