Re: Those of you that have diamond studs...
I guess I'm the minority here. I have screw backs which are great because you know that your earrings will be secure but I change my earrings way too often & it annoys me when it comes time to unscrew the back.. it takes me forever & I do irritate my earholes.

Re: Those of you that have diamond studs...
I had to have my screwbacks surgically removed from my ear by a plastic surgeon so I am scared to put them back on. I want to switch my diamonds over to something else, but I am still scared that I will lose them!

Re: Those of you that have diamond studs...
Thanks for the advice ladies! I will say that when I tried them on that snap made it really hard to get them off...which is a good thing! I still have to decide screwback or not!
I hate these decisions!!

Re: Those of you that have diamond studs...
Mine are screwbacks, and I have to tell you, even though I only take them out to clean them and have only had them for a couple of weeks, they are ANNOYING to take out! On the other hand, I do feel much safer. The previous pair I had weren't screwbacks, and I caught them falling out many times!

Re: Those of you that have diamond studs...
I have 2 pairs. My teeny tiny like a little fleck pair just has regular backs. My bigger pair are screw backs. I've never had any issues with either pair.

All of mine have screw backs. I don't think I would want them without it.

Re: Those of you that have diamond studs...
I had regular backs on my last pair...and lost one. So my next pair, which I have now and which were an upgrade after insurance covered my lost one are screwbacks. I wear them 24/7 but occasionally if I switch them out and wear a different pair or if i need to clean them it is a PITA to get them unscrewed...but I'd rather 30 seconds of annoyance than to lose another one....I don't think DH would be into another upgrade at this point LOL. I do notice that my right ear seems to loosen quicker than the left. I just check every day when I get out of the shower and tighten the right if it needs it. I learned my lesson believe me.

screwbacks, and I dont take off and they dont bother me.
Heck, i would be very upset if I lost one.
same here - just to clean.
I have another pair of posts - diamond/sapphire - and they make me so nervous. One actually popped out in the bathroom on my wedding day. I'm always supercareful when I wear those.

Re: Those of you that have diamond studs...
Mine are screwbacks and at first it was hard getting them in and out b/c the post is thicker than normal posts...now i'm used to it but for some reason 1 of them loosens. Now i'm in the habit everyday of making sure they are both tight. Not tight, but ykwim.
