Can I just say how ridiculously happy and elated I am that.............................
.....................I'm NOT going back to work and I don't have to spend the next week miserable and cranky and dreading having to report to school next Thursday!!! This is the first summer where I'm just excited for it to end so the baby gets here and in NO way, shape, form, or fashion will I miss teaching in the NYC Public Schools!! I SO look forward to my time home with the baby!! SO, SO excited!!!!!

I usually always do!! Even after the whole summer I don't feel ready to return (if I had to). I can't imagine going back to getting up at 5:15am every day and then commuting in traffic from Stony Brook to Queens. I'm VERY thankful to be staying home!! I feel for ya though, lots of luck!!!

ME TOO!!! Though I pray to G-d that I am not late or I will lose time with the baby. Doc says he wont let me go past 42 weeks. I looked at him square in the eye and said: "No, you will not let me go past 40 weeks. End of story."

I am actually looking forward to going back--not actually teaching, mind you, but going back. I got a little bored this summer. I also feel like I need something to keep me busy or I will just look at baby stuff online all day. Now, if I were closer to the end, that might be another story. I think I want to try for my next baby's arrival in March and June so I can get the summer plus 12 weeks.

Thanks!! Good luck going back and try to take it easy........I'm sure the buildings will be so hot after being closed up all summer.
